Sun Burn in Hawaii???
Posted by Judy VanSteenkiste-Reber on 17th Jun 2014
Well, my beautiful Hawaii got me the first day...like many others I'm sure when vacationing there, they get a little over exposure to the skin. I love to swim, snorkel and scuba dive. There is no other place on earth I'd rather be than in the Ocean with God's underwater creations!! In and out of the water and on and off of the mask, you need to think about re-applying sun protection.
I used the Merino Collagen Facial Moisturizer with SPF 30+ on my face, neck and chest. The rest of the body I used a spray on sun screen. The only area that got burned was my nose and my hairline around my face. I was determined not to peel...so I used the "Crack Blaster" (because it is so healing and includes Aloe Vera, Vitamin E, Lanolin, Jojoba and Glycerin!) on the burns day and night along with the Placenta Face Cream at night and the Collagen Cream during the day. I also started applying the Lanolin Lip Balm with SPF 30+ on my nose and hairline area during the day over my Collagen cream. I figured the extra water proofing the lip balm had would cause my protection to stay on better when I was doing the water activities. It worked!! None of my skin peeled...I'm just a sun-kissed babe now! AMAZING...GOTTA LOVE THIS STUFF!
You can enjoy outdoors and get a beautiful warm glo without suffering!!!
Have a wonderful summer!
